I prefer the Grizzly or Whitehawk to the Dragon however they are much more expensive. Dragon is extremely punishing for shots just slightly missed. Also, a few of the greens (#1 & #9) are nearly impossible. The dragon is definitely a shotmaker's course with risk/reward on almost every shot. The Dragon has still not recovered from the two years it was closed. The bunkers are mostly in poor shape but the greens and the fairways are very nice. The tee shot on #10 is one of the best on any par 4 I have ever played.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area
